SUNRISE OF GRACE

SUNRISE OF GRACE

Lofty, very lofty, is human birth. Only human beings can feel and relieve the sufferings of other beings. Offering succour is one’s duty. It is indeed an expression of gratitude to God. God has endowed mankind with six senses for this purpose.

Gaining Mellowness:
Men who lack human compassion are punished by God. They become poor, forfeit support and suffer hunger. This punishment is meted out to them that they may become mellow. It is indeed an act of divine mercy stemming from God who is the Life of lives. To punish an erring child parents cause him to undergo starvation. Even so is the act of God.

Peerless Merit:
Pain of hunger is the pain of birth, death and hell all rolled into one God himself feels indebted to the holy ones who relieve the poor from their hunger. The dispensing of food to the hungry ushers in heavenly joy. With hunger appeased, body becomes fit, mind cool and intellect bright. Life revives and feels the grace of God. Peerless contentment prevails. Food indeed is God made visible. Offering food to the hungry is a form of worship. Those who offer are godly. No spiritual merit equals their act. Grace ensues through gift of food.

Human Compassion and Deliverance:
Compassion, mercy, help rendered without seeking recompense, universal kinship which treats each ens as one’s own : these virtues are truly kindled by God alone. But for God’s inly enlightenment, mercy will not well up in us. From mercy ensues human compassion. Through this, murk that envelops the soul vanishes. Grace begins to abound. God has ordained that the advent of grace is caused by the gift of food to the hungry. The soul which is merciful blazes in glory. It gets augmented by God’s grace. Soul eventually gains Godliness. Deliverance is assured. Human compassion is the key to Deliverance.
