By the great efforts taken by Dhavathiru Muruganandha Adigalar, (22.8.1911 to 4.3.1964) Vallalar Kalvi Nilayam was started functioning from 17.10.1953. with 10 Adi Dravida Students. at Lingathadimedu village in Ariyalur District. It is just 5 kms.from Ariyalur.



The former M.L.A. of the Constituency Thiru K.R.Viswanathan (founder) and Pulavar M.K.Periasami contacted the local people and by getting donation and by the grace of Dhavathiru Muruganandha Adigalar started this School. Thiru Pasupathi, I.A.S.the then Sub Collector of this area, participated in the inauguration. It is a Govt.aided middle school. Now, there are 275 very poor students are studying in this Middle school from various Districts (viz) Ariyalur, Trichy, Chennai, Madurai, Perambalur areas.

Thiru P.Soundararajan is working as the Headmaster of this School for the past 19 years.
